ROADSTER SLK SAYS REVIEW WITH MERCEDES SLC FINAL EDITION
In 1994, the very first Mercedes SLC Final Edition was released by the stylists of Mercedes, creating a sensation and is now a cult model. The present generation; released in January 2011 and bearing the internal code R 172, is reverberated this March with a limited-edition Mercedes SLC Final Edition.
Mercedes SLC: yellow force,
The very first generation of SLK was a real unidentified rolling object with its retractable hard roof and Yellowstone yellow hue for the least unusual to the star builder.
In homage to this world premiere, the Mercedes SLC Final Edition is offered in the exclusive yellow sun color. With its complete equipment and unique interior details, the special series is clearly positioned at the top of the current range.
Two exterior styles are available for Mercedes SLC Final Edition models. The black, obsidian black and selenite gray paints are accompanied by an AMG front bumper with silver chrome strips at the bottom. With yellow sun, polar white and white diamond paints, the lower decorative strips are treated in black. On models with clear exterior paint, the door handles, mirrors and rear insert are also in a contrasting black glossy color. All versions feature the exclusive Mercedes SLC Final Edition pad on the front fenders under the chrome air outlet. The 18-inch AMG alloy wheels with 5 spokes painted in glossy black are standard.
Mercedes SLC Final Edition : the cockpit
Napa leather / microfiber DINA-MICA two-tone black / pearl white decorated with alpaca gray stitching creates in the cockpit a color scheme that is found in particular in standard sports seats, trims and central parts of storm doors. Seat belts in alpaca gray also reflect this chromatic theme. Carbon-look leather inserts in the headrests and upper backrest complete the interior design of the Mercedes SLC Final Edition
The head restraints and selector lever of the automatic transmission are covered with carbon-look leather and sport a silver SLC monogram. The decorative inserts in the dashboard and center console are in clear aluminum. The standard multi function sports steering wheel combines carbon-look leather in its upper and lower parts and smooth Napa leather in the grip zone. The sport steering wheel is composed of a flat part in the lower part, a 3-spoke design and pallets in silver finish.
The standard equipment also includes black floor mats with embroidered logo, AIR SCARF neck warmer, heated seats, steering column and exterior mirrors. The pack also includes 4-way lumbar support for driver and passenger.
